Complimentary Orthodontists Associates Exam
You are here because you are considering orthodontic care, or may have already scheduled an appointment but don’t know what to expect. Read below to learn more about what to expect when undergoing orthodontic care. Still have questions? Watch our educational videos to learn more.
Your first visit to our office will include a complimentary Orthodontists Associates exam for you or your child. The doctor will carefully examine the teeth for a wide range of possible orthodontic problems. These include crowding, overbites, underbites, crossbites, gaps and more. Once the doctor has a clear picture, we will discuss what type of treatment is necessary, how long it will take, and estimate how much it will cost. We will ensure you understand all the details before you decide to proceed with treatment. Schedule your complimentary Orthodontists Associates exam.
Orthodontists Associates Records
Should you decide to proceed with treatment, we will begin by making records. This occurs after your complimentary Orthodontists Associates exam. Its purpose is to determine the best course of treatment. Complete diagnostic records typically include a medical/dental history, clinical examination, study models of the teeth, photos of the patient’s face and teeth and X-rays. Unique to our records, we offer several forms of diagnostic testing that few other practices in Western New York support including CBCT digital imaging, rhynomanometry, take home sleep tests, and clinical data sheet frontal analysis. Following the clinical examination, we will use the information we gather to develop a customized treatment plan. This comprehensive plan will address the individual needs of each patient. These records are also helpful in tracking the progress of treatment as the teeth move under orthodontic care.
After we have thoroughly evaluated your diagnostic records, we will explain your treatment to you in detail. We will also discuss the cost for your particular care. Schedule your complimentary Orthodontists Associates exam.
Regular Appointments
Soon after the records appointment, we will be ready to schedule an appointment for you to get your new appliances placed. Getting appliances placed usually takes between 1-2 hours. You will then see us every 4-8 weeks for timely adjustments. These adjustments will last about 30 minutes.
Patients are seen by appointment only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately.
