- The influences that motivated me to become an orthodontist go back to my youth. Firstly, my uncle Dr. Buckey Colarusso – Dominic’s dad – inspired me to be a dentist.
- I followed in his footsteps while I trained in orthodontics. Because of this, I was exposed to some of their philosophies.
- Carl Gugino, one of Dr. Colarusso’s partners, influenced me deeply. Robert Ricketts, another heavyweight in the orthodontic field, founded the bio-progressive orthodontic philosophy I use in my practice every day.
