Financing Options

As we mentioned on an earlier page on this website, there is not a single fee for all orthodontic procedures. In fairness to our patients and their parents, our fees are determined by the degree of difficulty of each case.

There are several financing alternatives to assist with the cost of orthodontic treatment. In most cases, payments can be made in installments over the course of treatment. Cash, checks**, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express are gladly accepted.

• In-Office Payment Plans – we realize that orthodontic treatment is a large investment for most families. Therefore, we have an in-house payment plan available to our patients and/or parents. Our plan includes a down-payment and affordable monthly installments based upon the cost of the individual treatment. There are no interest or finance charges connected with this payment plan. This option can be discussed at a New Patient Consultation or Treatment Conference.
• Care Credit – Care Credit is a credit card exclusive for healthcare services. We offer Care Credit payment plans as a convenient option to consumer credit cards, cash or checks, and allows you to pay over time often without incurring interest charges. Feel free to ask about Care Credit at a New Patient Consultation or a Treatment Conference.
• Chase Health Advance – Chase provides a credit program that meets the needs of people seeking affordable payment plans for medical and dental treatments and procedures. Flexible payment plans are all available with a revolving line of credit starting at $5,000. Some of the plans available offer no interest and extended payment options.
• Orthodontic Insurance – Orthodontic insurance differs greatly from regular dental insurance. Regular dental insurance pays for each service rendered. Payments from orthodontic insurance are made over the entire length of treatment, and will not pay for the full cost of treatment. Generally, orthodontic insurance will only cover a portion of the treatment fee, usually up to a set lifetime maximum. As a courtesy to our patients, we process all insurance claims for you. Be sure to bring your insurance information with you to the Treatment Conference.
• Flexible Spending Accounts – many families now use FSA (Flexible Spending) accounts to pay for medical and dental services in absence of or not covered by regular health/dental insurance. We are happy to help you plan your annual FSA expenses for orthodontic treatment.
• Discounts – as an incentive, we have discount programs available for patients/parents who want to pay for the full cost of treatment at its commencement. For more details, please speak to one of our Treatment Coordinators at the time of your New Patient Consultation or your Treatment Conference.

**There is a $25 penalty fee for all checks returned to us for insufficient funds. This fee is assessed to each patient’s account each time a check is returned to us for insufficient funds.
